Pope FlexiFrame HazLoc motor series is fully certified for IECEx certification for zones, Ex db I Mb, Ex db IIB T4 Gb, Ex eb I Mb, Ex eb IIC T3 Gb, Ex ec IIC T3 Gc, Ex tb IIIC Db, Motors are based on the proven FlexiFrame heavy duty modular system with a choice of IP55, IP66 and IP69 ingress protection.

Pope IECEx HazLoc motors include the following features and options:

• Patented shaft arrangement with integral shaft grounding ring for VFD / inverter use, Tru-Flush greasing system and special shaft sealing for high pressure washdown.
• Super modular construction with bolt on feet and flange rings allowing for hundreds of terminal box and mounting combinations, ideal for upgrade and preplacement of existing brands of motors.
• Local assembly and certification by Pope Australia for efficient deliveries and superior local support.
• Forced cooling for VFD / inverter operation for Ex db & Ex tb with IP66 or IP69 fan motors
• IECEx Approved options include: heaters, thermistors, winding & bearing RTD’s, warning plates, brakes, anti-run back bearings, special high build paint, stainless fan cowls and fasteners, moisture sensors, special bearings, double or special shafts, encoders, non-standard or NEMA feet and flanges. TEAO IC418 air over for vent fans, etc.
